It's Wild Card weekend in the DFS community and typically what will put you over the top in these playoff contests are the value plays that you need to scrape the bottom of the bargain bin for. It's important to be a little contrarian this time of year and stand out from the crowd, so let's have a look at where you can find some value this weekend.
Devin Singletary, RB - Buffalo Bills (DK: $5,700 / FD: $6,900)
Singletary has eclipsed double digit fantasy points in five straight games and will now face a Pats defense allowing 123.7 RYDS/G (23rd in NFL). Really, the Pats' Achilles' heel has been their run defense all year long and if the Bills want to come away with a victory at home, they'll need to rely on Singletary. He's also been seeing some great volume, averaging 21.5 touches in his last four games.
Extra Value Play: Darrel Williams, RB - Kansas City Chiefs (DK: $5,500 / FD: $6,600)
Cedrick Wilson, WR - Dallas Cowboys (DK: $4,400 / FD: $6,000)
Wilson has emerged as a security blanket for Dak Prescott in the offense as he was more involved over the last two weeks, accounting for 11 catches that led to three touchdowns. It's a bit of a risky play with CeeDee Lamb and Amari Cooper being available for this game, but that could play to your benefit here as Kellen Moore can design some schemes that would leave Wilson out in space and able to use his big play potential.
Extra Value Play: Van Jefferson, WR - Los Angeles Rams (DK: $4,700 / FD: $5,700)
Tyler Boyd, WR - Cincinnati Bengals (DK: $5,000 / FD: $6,000)
Boyd has been an unsung hero for this Bengals offense this season (and really he's been doing it quite consistently for the last few years now). Defenses want to focus on Ja'Marr Chase and Tee Higgins, but Boyd has proven to be just as dangerous. Over his last three games, the Bengals wideout has 12 catches for 217 yards and three touchdowns -- I think he finds the end zone against this Raiders secondary.
Extra Value Play: Chase Claypool, WR - Pittsburgh Steelers (DK: $4,800 / FD: $5,900)
