The injury bug has started to rear its ugly head, forcing some teams to scramble for replacements. Two teams with some question marks heading into Week 7 are the Lions and 49ers, particularly in their backfields. We will see if some of those injuries will have an impact on the outcome of this week's games.

Jacksonville Jaguars (4-2) @ New Orleans Saints (3-3)
The Jags look like they've found their stride on offense after a couple stalemate performances earlier in the year. The news this week is that Trevor Lawrence is dealing with a knee sprain and that perks the ears a little bit considering his mobility will be key against this stout Saints defense. The Superdome is a tough place to play if the crowd gets going early and I think the Saints desperately need this game. Pick: Saints, 23-20.
Line: Saints -2
ML: Saints
Spread: Saints
Atlanta Falcons (3-3) vs Tampa Bay Buccaneers (3-2)
The Bucs came out flat at home last week off a bye and they get a chance to redeem themselves here in a divisional matchup with the Falcons. Desmond Ridder will be tested by this scrappy Todd Bowles defense as the Bucs have won three of the last four matchups on home field. Pick: Buccaneers, 23-17.
Line: Buccaneers -2.5
ML: Buccaneers
Spread: Buccaneers
Buffalo Bills (4-2) @ New England Patriots (1-5)
The Bills have dominated this rivalry since 2020, winning six of the last seven games as these two franchises have been moving in opposite directions over that span. The Bills' offense really struggled last week at home to the Giants and they will need a strong start to make sure the Pats don't hang around in this one. Pick: Bills, 28-13.
Line: Bills -8
ML: Bills
Spread: Bills
Cleveland Browns (3-2) @ Indianapolis Colts (3-3)
Deshaun Watson returned to practice this week and is trending in the right direction to play this week. That would be a big lift to this Browns offense even though they pulled off the upset over the Niners without him last week -- the defense is for real. Pick: Browns, 24-16.
Line: Browns -3.5
ML: Browns
Spread: Browns
Detroit Lions (5-1) @ Baltimore Ravens (4-2)
The Lions had plenty of hype heading into the year, but they've certainly been a bit of a surprise through the first six weeks, sitting atop the NFC standings. Jared Goff is playing at an MVP level and he will go head-to-head with former MVP Lamar Jackson. The last time these two teams met, Justin Tucker set the record for the longest field goal in NFL history...does he have another big kick in him late? Pick: Ravens, 26-21.
Line: Ravens -3
ML: Ravens
Spread: Ravens
Las Vegas Raiders (3-3) @ Chicago Bears (1-5)
This is a tough game to call as I don't really think the Raiders are that good, but they have a chance to get to 4-3 and keep pace in the AFC South. Jimmy Garoppolo will not be able to suit up for this game as he's dealing with a back injury, while rookie Tyson Baget will start in place of Justin Fields. I would expect the Raiders' pass rush to control this game and come away with a tough win at Soldier Field. Pick: Raiders, 19-13.
Line: Raiders -2.5
ML: Raiders
Spread: Raiders
Washington Commanders (3-3) @ New York Giants (1-5)
The Giants are the speculation of trade rumors this week as Saquon Barkley has popped up in more than a few conversations. It's not the start the G-Men were expecting to the year after a playoff win last season and they seem to be hanging on by a thread. Daniel Jones is listed as questionable with his neck injury and if he can't go, it will be veteran Tyrod Taylor back under center. Pick: Giants, 21-20.
Line: Commanders -3
ML: Giants
Spread: Giants
Arizona Cardinals (1-5) @ Seattle Seahawks (3-2)
Despite Kyler Murray returning to practice this week, head coach Jonathan Gannon was quick to announce Joshua Dobbs as the starter in Seattle this week. That's likely good news for the Seahawks as the Cards' offense has sputtered in their last three games, averaging 15 points over that span. The Seahawks lost a heartbreaker in Cincinnati last week, and I like Pete Carroll's squad to show some resiliency at home this week. Pick: Seahawks, 26-16.
Line: Seahawks -7.5
ML: Seahawks
Spread: Seahawks
Pittsburgh Steelers (3-2) @ Los Angeles Rams (3-3)
The Steelers are looking for a spark on offense coming out of their bye week and they should get some help as Diontae Johnson returns from injured reserve. This could be real defensive battle as Sean McVay's squad seems to have a resurgence on the defensive side of the ball, but will the injuries in the backfield be too much to overcome? Pick: Rams, 23-17.
Line: Rams -3
ML: Rams
Spread: Rams
Green Bay Packers (2-3) @ Denver Broncos (1-5)
These two teams have been flat to start the year and much of that could be attributed to injuries in the backfield. For the Packers, they might get Aaron Jones back for this game, which should take some pressure off Jordan Love to move the ball downfield. Pick: Packers, 24-17.
Line: Packers -1
ML: Packers
Spread: Packers
Los Angeles Chargers (2-3) @ Kansas City Chiefs (5-1)
Justin Herbert threw another fourth quarter pick and the Chargers fell at home to the Cowboys last week. Now, they are a desperate team heading out on the road to Arrowhead where they've won two of the last three matchups over the Chiefs. This Chiefs offense hasn't overly impressed me (and just when I doubt them, they will likely turn things on) and I think the Chargers can stun them this week. Pick: Chargers, 27-24.
Line: Chiefs -5.5
ML: Chargers
Spread: Chargers
Miami Dolphins (5-1) @ Philadelphia Eagles (5-1)
This is the game of the week (and could be a precursor to February's big game) as the high-flying Dolphins head to the Linc to take on the Eagles. The key to this game will be the Eagles' ability to disrupt Tua Tagovailoa's rhythm in the pocket; they certainly have the defensive front, led by rookie Jalen Carter. Pick: Eagles, 28-24.
Line: Eagles -2.5
ML: Eagles
Spread: Eagles
San Francisco 49ers (5-1) @ Minnesota Vikings (2-4)
The 49ers were handed their first loss by the Browns last week and some of their key players were banged up in the process. Deebo Samuel, Christian McCaffrey and Trent Williams are all questionable this week, so we'll have to keep an eye on the injury report. We all know how Kirk Cousins performs in primetime spots, so I still like the Niners here despite the potentially thinner roster. Pick: 49ers, 24-20.
Line: 49ers -7
