The season continues to get wilder and wilder, especially after last week's thrilling overtime game between the Vikings and Bills. A couple more upsets took place as well, including the Packers over the Cowboys and the Commanders handing the Eagles their first loss of the season. Let's dive into the matchups for Week 11.
**All betting lines from bet365.com** (Updated Nov. 19)
Tennessee Titans (6-3) @ Green Bay Packers (4-6)
The Packers came away with a surprising OT win last week over the Cowboys and Aaron Rodgers was extremely animated with Matt LaFleur in the waning moments of that game. Can they build off that game and gain some momentum for a wildcard push or will Derrick Henry prove to be too much in this game? Pick: Packers, 24-21.
Line: Packers -2.5
ML: Packers
Spread: Packers
Carolina Panthers (3-7) @ Baltimore Ravens (6-3)
Lamar Jackson is reportedly working through and illness prior to the game and coach John Harbaugh maintains he won't miss this one. That being said, I'm not too nervous about the Ravens coming out on top here, however the spread is a bit steep and I expect the Panthers defense to keep this game within reach. Pick: Ravens, 24-13.
Line: Ravens -13
ML: Ravens
Spread: Panthers
Chicago Bears (3-7) @ Atlanta Falcons (4-6)
The Bears are on the heels of a heartbreaking loss to the Lions last week and now travel to Atlanta where Justin Fields should have a juicy matchup. I'm not sure what to make of this Bears squad though and it also seems like the Falcons have come back down to Earth...I'll lean with the home side here. Pick: Falcons, 26-24.
Line: Falcons -3
ML: Falcons
Spread: Bears
Cleveland Browns (3-6) @ Buffalo Bills (6-3)
This week has been bananas for the Bills with a monstrous snowstorm in Buffalo that forced this game to be moved to a neutral field in Detroit. It also appears the Bills are dealing with the flu spreading around the locker room, which could make them thin again on the defensive side of the ball. It's a short week already with Thanksgiving looming and there is talk that this game could be pushed later into Sunday too. Pick: Bills, 27-20.
Line: Bills -7.5
ML: Bills
Spread: Browns
Detroit Lions (3-6) @ New York Giants (7-2)
The Lions have shown some life the last two weeks, winning back-to-back games and will look to play spoiler on the Giants' road to a playoff berth. The one constant for the Lions though has been their poor defensive play and I think Saquon Barkley can expose that here, while "Wink" Martindale will dial up some pressure on Jared Goff. Pick: Giants, 26-19.
Line: Giants -3
ML: Giants
Spread: Giants
Los Angeles Rams (3-6) @ New Orleans Saints (3-7)
The Rams have gone through a whole lot of adversity this year and just not come out the other end okay to this point. Now, Cooper Kupp will be out long-term and there hasn't been any consistency elsewhere in the passing game even when he's been in the lineup. I'm not sure why the Saints haven't gone back to Jameis Winston under center yet, but they should be able to do enough to scrape this win out. Pick: Saints, 20-17.
Line: Saints -2.5
ML: Saints
Spread: Saints
New York Jets (6-3) @ New England Patriots (5-4)
This is a huge matchup, not just for the AFC playoff picture, but for the entire landscape of the AFC East. Both these teams are very much in the conversation for the division title and the Jets will be looking to avenge a 22-17 loss to the Pats back on Oct. 30. I think Bill Belichick will expose Zach Wilson once again here and lean on the ground game to prevail. Pick: Patriots, 20-17.
Line: Patriots -3.5
ML: Patriots
Spread: Jets
Philadelphia Eagles (8-1) @ Indianapolis Colts (4-5-1)
The Colts were resilient last week with Matt Ryan under center as they pulled out a much needed win over the Raiders. For now, their slim playoff hopes are alive. The Eagles were handed their first loss of the season on a rather bizarre ending in the 4th quarter and will look to get back on track as they are now duking it out with the Vikings for homefield supremacy in the NFC playoffs. Pick: Eagles, 24-16.
Line: Eagles -6.5
ML: Eagles
Spread: Eagles
Washington Commanders (5-5) @ Houston Texans (1-7-1)
The Commanders just won't go away under Ron Rivera's tutelage, as this team has very much taken on the mantra of never backing down. Last week, they knocked off the Eagles and with a cupcake matchup here against the Texans, they are one win away from firmly supplanting themselves in the NFC wildcard race. Pick: Commanders, 24-20.
Line: Commanders -3
ML: Commanders
Spread: Commanders
Las Vegas Raiders (2-7) @ Denver Broncos (3-6)
Man, these two teams had high hopes entering the season and now they're left battling to stay out of the basement in the AFC West. The Broncos fell in a tough defensive matchup last week to the Titans and despite being able to put many points on the board this year, I just can't back Josh McDaniels and the Raiders this year. Pick: Broncos, 26-23.
Line: Broncos -2.5
ML: Broncos
Spread: Broncos
Cincinnati Bengals (5-4) @ Pittsburgh Steelers (3-6)
Joe Burrow gets another crack at the Steelers after the defense forced him into five turnovers in their Week 1 matchup. Burrow would love to have Ja'Marr Chase available for this game, but the star wideout continues to sit out with a hip injury. I think the Bengals get some redemption here regardless and look for their defense to put up a strong effort. Pick: Bengals, 24-17.
Line: Bengals -3.5
ML: Bengals
Spread: Bengals
Dallas Cowboys (6-3) @ Minnesota Vikings (8-1)
What a comeback by the Vikings last week that started with a catch of the year candidate by Justin Jefferson. I have to say that Kirk Cousins has surprised me this year and last week might go down as the best comeback of his career so far. However, Cousins is 2-8 all-time against the Cowboys and this pass rush will be looking to make his day miserable. I think the Cowboys come out slugging and can steal a win on the road here. Pick: Cowboys, 24-21.
Line: Cowboys -1.5
ML: Cowboys
Spread: Cowboys
Kansas City Chiefs (7-2) @ Los Angeles Chargers (5-4)
This is a really interesting matchup for the AFC West as Justin Herbert has been keeping the Chargers afloat in the absence of both Keenan Allen and Mike Williams. It's looking like Herbert will have both his top wideouts back for this game after full practices on Friday. On the flip side, Patrick Mahomes will be without JuJu Smith-Schuster as this could be a Kadarius Toney breakout spot. Pick: Chiefs, 27-24.
Line: Chiefs -5
ML: Chiefs
Spread: Chargers
San Francisco 49ers (5-4) @ Arizona Cardinals (4-6)
The Cardinals should have Kyler Murray and DeAndre Hopkins back for this matchup as they look to keep pace in the NFC West. This 49ers team is deep on both sides of the ball and as long as Jimmy Garoppolo continues managing the game, they will be a tough team to beat down the stretch as they push for a playoff spot. Pick: 49ers, 24-17.
Line: 49ers -8
ML: 49ers
Spread: Cardinals
