Week 10 NFL Picks

Hard to believe that half the season is already in the books, and for some teams, the playoffs are a longshot. Week 10 will feature some pivotal matchups for the playoff picture though, including an AFC North showdown between the Browns and Ravens, plus the Niners look to get back on track against the Jaguars. Let's dive into this week's games.

**All betting lines from bet365.com** (Updated Nov. 12)

Carolina Panthers (1-7) @ Chicago Bears (2-7)

Another snoozefest on prime time with the Bears hosting the Panthers and this game will have a big impact on the first overall pick in next year's draft. For the Bears, they own the Panthers' first-round pick, and a win here would go a long way towards securing that top pick. USC's Caleb Williams might be paying close attention to this game. Pick: Bears, 17-14.

Line: Bears -3.5

ML: Bears

Spread: Panthers

Indianapolis Colts (4-5) vs New England Patriots (2-7)

This is the second game in Germany on the NFL schedule and for the Pats, they're in the conversation for the first overall pick next year. The Colts on the other hand, are still alive in the AFC wildcard race and it will be up to Gardner Minshew to make sure they keep pace. Look for Jonathan Taylor and Zack Moss to grind down this Pats defense. Pick: Colts, 20-17.

Line: Colts -2

ML: Colts

Spread: Colts

Cleveland Browns (5-3) @ Baltimore Ravens (7-2)

This is a big game for the AFC North, as all four teams currently occupy a playoff spot. Deshaun Watson has admitted that he is not full healthy, still working through the pain in his shoulder and the key for him in this matchup will be his mobility. We know what Lamar Jackson is capable of on the ground, but Watson will need to be elusive against a Ravens defense playing at a high level. Pick: Ravens, 24-17.

Line: Ravens -6.5

ML: Ravens

Spread: Ravens

Green Bay Packers (3-5) @ Pittsburgh Steelers (5-3)

The Packers finally won a game last week, but their offensive struggles continue and this will be a tough spot for Jordan Love this week. The Steelers are led by their stout defensive play and considering their offense has struggled this year too, something will have to give between these two teams. Pick: Steelers, 20-13.

Line: Steelers -3

ML: Steelers

Spread: Steelers

Houston Texans (4-4) @ Cincinnati Bengals (5-3)

Texans rookie C.J. Stroud has been impressive this season and found his way into the record books last week in a thrilling win over the Bucs. Now, Stroud will be without his top wideout, Nico Collins, as he enters the jungle to play the red hot Bengals. Looks like Joe Burrow could have a thinner wide receiver group as well, with Tee Higgins already being ruled out and Ja'Marr Chase's status up in the air. Pick: Bengals, 24-17.

Line: Bengals -6

ML: Bengals

Spread: Bengals

New Orleans Saints (5-4) @ Minnesota Vikings (5-4)

The Saints are starting to find their groove offensively and have an opportunity to put some distance between themselves and the rest of the AFC South this week. The Vikings are pesky, and brought in Joshua Dobbs for more depth at the QB position as they navigate the rest of the season without Kirk Cousins. This game should be tight from start to finish, but I'll take the Saints' defense to close it out late. Pick: Saints, 24-20.

Line: Saints -2.5

ML: Saints

Spread: Saints

San Francisco 49ers (5-3) @ Jacksonville Jaguars (6-2)

This is a big spot, specifically for the Niners, as they're riding a three-game losing streak into this one. Help is on the way though, as Deebo Samuel and Trent Williams are set to play in this game, and that's perfect timing for Brock Purdy as he's looked human over the last month. Doug Pederson's Jags will have a big test against this defense as they too are coming off a bye week, what type of pressure can this Niners' defensive front get on Trevor Lawrence? Pick: 49ers, 27-21.

Line: 49ers -3

ML: 49ers

Spread: 49ers

Tennessee Titans (3-5) @ Tampa Bay Buccaneers (3-5)

Both of these teams are trying to make a last ditch effort to stay in playoff race and I have a slight lean to the home side here as the Bucs have been a bit snake bitten the last few weeks. Will Levis was impressive in his first start, but came back down to Earth last week against the Steelers and I think the Bucs' zone defense will keep him at bay. Pick: Buccaneers, 21-17.

Line: Buccaneers -2.5

ML: Buccaneers

Spread: Buccaneers

Atlanta Falcons (4-5) @ Arizona Cardinals (1-8)

The Cardinals will finally get Kyler Murray back this week and there is plenty of hype around his return. I'm not investing in it just yet as there could be some rust to shake off for Murray and I thought Taylor Heinicke played a great game last week that should have resulted in a Falcons win. Pick: Falcons, 23-17.

Line: Falcons -2

ML: Falcons

Spread: Falcons

Detroit Lions (6-2) @ L.A. Chargers (4-4)

The Chargers got a big win on Monday night, making that back-to-back victories, and are back in the AFC wildcard conversation. Now, they will play a Lions team fresh off its bye week, set to get David Montgomery back. I like the Lions here as they've had plenty of time to digest their blowout loss to the Ravens and Dan Campbell is a real motivator. Pick: Lions, 24-20.

Line: Lions -3

ML: Lions

Spread: Lions

New York Giants (2-7) @ Dallas Cowboys (5-3)

The spread for this game is bonkers, but you have one of the league's best pass rushes ready to feast on rookie Tommy DeVito. The one thing about this game could be the Cowboys' complacency, as it happened earlier in the year against the Cardinals, and there could be potential for a backdoor cover here. Pick: Cowboys, 34-17.

Line: Cowboys -17.5

ML: Cowboys

Spread: Giants

Washington Commanders (4-5) @ Seattle Seahawks (5-3)

I think this spread is a tad high as the Seahawks have been rather inconsistent this season despite a 5-3 record. Ron Rivera's group has been scrappy this season and came away with a hard fought win on the road in New England last week. I think Sam Howell does enough to keep this Commanders team around in this game. Pick: Seahawks, 21-16.

Line: Seahawks -6

ML: Seahawks

Spread: Commanders

New York Jets (4-4) @ Las Vegas Raiders (4-5)

Robert Saleh continues to trust in Zach Wilson to lead his offense and it's created a divide amongst the fanbase. The Jets have a stellar defense, it's a Top 10 unit really, and if Wilson could show a bit more consistency then this team would have a shot at the playoffs. On the other side, Antonio Pierce's debut as the Raiders' head coach went well as the team responded last week. Pick: Raiders, 19-16.

Line: Jets -1

ML: Raiders

Spread: Raiders

Denver Broncos (3-5) @ Buffalo Bills (5-4)

The Bills are struggling right now and badly need a win this week. The good news is that they're at home and get an extra day to prepare, which should bode well for Josh Allen as he works through his shoulder injury. Russell Wilson has definitely been clicking with Sean Payton this season, but this Broncos team needs to show a little more grit if they want to steal this one on the road. Pick: Bills, 26-17.

Line: Bills -7.5

ML: Bills

Spread: Bills
